Wells Bar, an old forgotten bar abandoned by its owners, a dark-skinned man emerged and walked down the sidewalk. He paused. An odd stranger leaned against a dark red Corvette.

"You ain't from around here." Samuel Thane smirked. He dressed in a T-shirt, jeans, leather jacket, and a charred silver cross hung across his neck.

The stranger's arms folded across his chest. He pushed a pair of sunglasses down his nose and smiled at the black man.

"What gave me away?" he asked.

"Not a lot of people drive Corvettes around here. Not to mention most white people I see around here are cops."

"You Samuel Thane?"

"Maybe."

"You think I'm a cop?"
Samuel shook his head, "The only question is, what are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for a man."

"If you want a date, you better head to one of Vanco's places. Most of her inventory is girls, but I'm sure she can find a man for you." Samuel took a few steps away.

"Not that kind of man." The stranger rose from the hood. Samuel turned his head back.

"My name is Tom Utley. I'm looking for a man named Dylan Price. If you hear anything about him, you give me a call." The stranger handed him a card with a name and number.

Samuel took the card. He glanced between the man in front of him and the card, "Tom Utley?" Sam raised an eyebrow. "No offense, but you don't look like a Tom. Who is this Dylan Price to you?"

"An old friend." Tom pulled out a brown envelope and handed it to Samuel. "You find him, you call, or I'll come looking for you."
Samuel nodded and took the brown envelope. He looked inside as the car drove off. Inside sat stacks of hundred-dollar bills.
