Temporary Pause in Posting

I've written Chapter 6, but I don't like it. I think I'm going to throw it out and start over.

I'm still writing the book, but I'm not going to post as I write because it's making me feel like my chapters need to be "perfect" and they're not, of course. Since I'm running into this problem, I won't post any more chapters until I'm further along and am fairly happy with what I have.

Various books on writing advise the writer not to show anyone the 1st draft---most people think this way. But since I write similar to Dean Koontz---where you write the scene/chapter, then go over it 3 -30 times until it's done, basically. Then move on to the next scene/chapter. Then when you reach the end of the book, there's not much left to do. I like that part :-)

But for this book, that crazy "perfectionism" thing is creeping in and it's bringing me to a halt. I know the beginning and ending and have my three disasters set (Snowflake Method). In a few chapters Queen Nymeria, and the beautiful Princess Seren, will notice Pryce's skill in dragon training and riding. The poor fisherman's boy is enticed/seduced to join the Dragonkin Marauders where he will have access to riches he'd never known before.

Anyway, I'll be back to posting my chapters soon.
