Nobleclad

In the sunlit valleys and winding paths of the Daybreak Pinnacles, a new breed has emerged: the Noblechad. This hybrid, born from the union of the formidable Ironclad Steed and carefully chosen traditional horses, embodies the best of both worlds. Domesticated and loyal, the Noblechad is at the heart of a new method of travel that allows people to travel from Crossroads to Pelage in relative comfort.

With powerful limbs and a sturdy build, the Noblechad is perfectly suited for the rugged terrain of the mountains. Its hide, though not as impenetrable as its Ironclad ancestor, retains a natural toughness that protects it from predators and the elements. This makes it an ideal companion for traversing the steep, rocky paths, pulling specialized carts with ease and grace.

Friendly and approachable, the Noblechad has a gentle disposition that endears it to humans. Its eyes, warm and intelligent, reflect a deep bond with its handlers. Yet, beneath this calm exterior lies the heart of a survivor. The Noblechad’s instincts, honed by its wild heritage, ensure it remains vigilant and safe from threats.

The Nobleclad is a symbol of harmony between man and nature. It carries the legacy of the Ironclad Steed while embracing the companionship of humans.

Additional Information

Domestication

The people of the plains around Crossroads noticed the power of the Ironclad Steeds to cross the Pinnacles. At first, they hoped to tame these mighty creatures, but were soon convinced by hoof and tooth that this was not possible.

Hoping to create a more docile blend, they released fine specimens of horses into the foothills, and eventually interbreding occured. The foals were carefully captured and trained.

While not as easy to tame as the average horse, Nobleclads can be tamed and turned into both a sturdy and faithful mount as well as used to pull Mountain Marauders and Pinnacle Carts.

Average Intelligence

Draska handlers have reported that these animals are among the many that are capable of thought-speech, able to learn to communicate telepathically.
